And don’t overlook niche collector items. Sealed beauty products from discontinued lines, retro football shirts from the pre-2010 era, and out-of-print board games like HeroQuest or Atmosfear are all pulling in impressive numbers on eBay and collector groups.

So, before you send another box to the tip or donate to charity, it might be worth a dig. Your forgotten attic stash could be someone else’s holy grail and your ticket to an unexpected payday.
