Overview

Noah Kahan announced three huge headline shows for The Last of the Bugs World Tour, including stadium dates in Glasgow, Dublin and London for July 2027.

The UK dates represented a major step up in capacity. Barclays Hampden in Glasgow holds around 74,410, while the London date at Wembley Stadium offered capacity approaching 100,000. That amount of inventory made this a considerably different resale proposition from Kahan's smaller arena dates.

The announcement also followed six UK shows already scheduled across Manchester, London and Glasgow for November 2026. Despite strong hype around his new album and proven demand, House of Resell therefore approached the stadium release cautiously.

Rather than treating every ticket as a buy, the focus was on the cheapest tickets, Front Porch packages and potentially strong lower-level seats. Early scarcity could create profitable sales, but additional dates and the sheer stadium capacities represented significant downside risk.

Breaking Down the Flip

Noah Kahan had already sold out six smaller UK arena dates, demonstrating strong demand before the new 2027 stadium shows.

Cheapest tickets and Front Porch packages were the preferred targets, rather than buying indiscriminately across the stadium.

Strong lower-level seats offered potential for early sales while initial demand and excitement around the announcement remained high.

Huge capacities and the possibility of additional dates could substantially increase supply, making longer holds considerably riskier.

Final Thoughts

Noah Kahan's previous UK sellouts made this an attractive release on paper, but stadium economics changed the equation.

Wembley and Hampden introduced tens of thousands more tickets than his previous arena shows, while six UK dates were already scheduled for November 2026. That reduced scarcity and made blindly purchasing ordinary tickets much harder to justify.

The smarter approach was selective. Cheap tickets limited the downside, Front Porch packages had their own dedicated demand, and desirable lower-level seats offered the best chance of benefiting from early hype.

Additional dates were the biggest threat. Another Wembley or Hampden show could quickly add tens of thousands of tickets and put pressure on secondary-market prices. For that reason, early profitable sales would have been preferable to assuming every ticket would appreciate towards July 2027.

This was still a worthwhile Noah Kahan opportunity, but unlike his smaller shows, the money was likely to be made through ticket selection and timing rather than simply getting through the queue.
