Limited to 1,000 liquid vinyls, this Espresso release turned into a high-caffeine flip at £300 resale.
Third Man Records brought its pop-up concept across the UK and Ireland alongside Jack White's 2026 tour, creating an interesting in-store opportunity around the Frozen Charlotte Bootleg Variant.
The main target was a special bootleg vinyl sold exclusively through the pop-ups for £50. Unlike the standard Third Man Records variant, these copies came with individually hand-screen-printed sleeves and were only available in person while stocks lasted. Third Man Records confirmed that the tour would feature exclusive vinyl, limited merchandise and bootleg Jack White records across selected independent record shops.
House of Resell identified the Bootleg Variant as the product to target and advised members to arrive several hours before opening because availability was expected to be extremely limited. Community reports from the Bristol event subsequently indicated that only around 100 Frozen Charlotte bootleg copies were available at each pop-up, although Third Man Records has not publicly confirmed that quantity.
With listings remaining high after the first August events, the expected resale level settled around £200+, creating potential gross profit of approximately £200 per copy.
The Frozen Charlotte Bootleg Variant cost £50 and was only available from Third Man Records' temporary UK and Ireland pop-ups.
Each bootleg featured a hand-screen-printed sleeve, helping distinguish it from the more widely available Frozen Charlotte variants.
House of Resell targeted the Bootleg Variant rather than the standard TMR edition, with resale expectations settling around £200+ after the first pop-ups.
At £200+ resale, successful buyers were looking at approximately £200 gross profit per record before selling fees and other costs.

The Frozen Charlotte Bootleg Variant had the ingredients we look for in a strong in-store flip: low entry cost, genuinely restricted distribution, collectable appeal and buyers outside the UK who could not simply order the same product online.
At only £50 retail, the downside was also relatively controlled compared with some of our recent high-value flips. House of Resell's £200+ resale expectation would translate to approximately £200 gross profit per copy, although we should treat that as the expected market rather than confirmed sales until we have sold evidence.
The remaining Dublin and Glasgow pop-ups also mean supply has not finished entering the market yet. That is important. I wouldn't write as though £200 is guaranteed to hold, because additional copies could pressure prices during September.
For members who secured the vinyl during the August Bristol, Newcastle or Belfast stops, however, this was a strong low-cost collectable play and another example of why location-exclusive music releases can create opportunities that ordinary online drops cannot replicate.
