Discover why trading cards like Pokémon, Marvel Topps, and MTG are booming in 2024 as top collectible investments.

The Pokémon Europe International Championships took place between 13–15 February 2026 at ExCeL London, bringing together competitive players, collectors, and fans from across Europe.
While the event is primarily focused on competitive Pokémon Trading Card Game and video game tournaments, the surrounding ecosystem of merchandise and event access has increasingly created opportunities for collectors and resellers.
One of the main attractions each year is the official Pokémon Center pop-up store, which sells event merchandise and Pokémon Center-exclusive trading card products.
Spectator passes provided entry to the venue and early access to book Pokémon Center store reservations.
• Retail Price: £30
• Resale Range: £70 – £120
Demand increased as the event approached, with tickets trading above retail on the secondary market. For some attendees, the Spectator Pass alone became a quick early flip before the event even began.

Alongside the tournament, the Pokémon Center pop-up store once again became one of the most profitable areas of the event for collectors and resellers.
Products were released on a first-come, first-served basis for attendees who secured store reservations. In addition, a limited raffle system allowed some attendees to purchase the Mega Evolution Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box.
Members reported that if they managed to secure each of the key products released during the event, the combined resale value exceeded £300 in profit.
Several Pokémon TCG products released at the event began trading above retail shortly after attendees left the venue.

If a buyer managed to secure one of each item, the resale margins across the lineup added up to £300+ in potential profit based on early secondary market pricing.
Several factors helped drive demand for the products released at EUIC:
• Pokémon Center exclusivity
• Limited availability tied to event access
• Strong demand for sealed Pokémon TCG products
• Immediate collector interest following the event
Historically, Pokémon Center exclusive Elite Trainer Boxes have consistently been among the strongest sealed Pokémon products in the resale market.
The 2026 Pokémon Europe International Championships once again demonstrated that major Pokémon events can create multiple layers of opportunity for collectors and resellers.
From Spectator Pass ticket resale to Pokémon Center merchandise releases, attendees who secured early access were able to benefit from limited supply and strong collector demand.
As Pokémon events continue to grow in popularity, both event access and exclusive merchandise remain areas that experienced resellers monitor closely.
