Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life Performances 50th Anniversary Tour became a strong September ticket opportunity when it announced its US dates on 8 September 2026. Wonder will perform the landmark 1976 album in full, with the US leg beginning at Madison Square Garden on 19 November.
House of Resell preferred the US release over the UK and European dates because American retail pricing started lower, leaving more room for secondary-market growth. Tickets ranged from approximately £30 to £212, with 2x+ resale expected on the strongest positions.
The recommended priority was New York > Los Angeles > Detroit > Washington, with non-VIP floor tickets and the cheapest seats considered the main targets. New York offered the obvious headline opportunity at Madison Square Garden, while Detroit's two shows stood out because the Fox Theatre is considerably smaller than the major arenas on the rest of the US run.
One important risk remained: additional dates. Gaps remained in the schedule, meaning extra shows could increase supply and soften resale prices.

New York was the priority, followed by Los Angeles and Detroit, with cheap seats and non-VIP floors considered the strongest targets.
Detroit's two Fox Theatre shows offered an interesting scarcity play because of the substantially smaller venue compared with the arena dates.
The main risk was additional shows being added, so members were advised against assuming every ticket would automatically reach the 2x target.

This was exactly the type of September ticket release worth watching. The US pricing also made the opportunity more attractive than the comparatively expensive UK and European releases. At £30-£212 retail, there was considerably more room for the right tickets to appreciate.
New York remained the standout target, while the smaller Detroit shows offered an interesting scarcity angle. Cheap seats and standard floor tickets made more sense than expensive VIP inventory because they left greater room between entry cost and resale.
The 2x+ call was still a prediction rather than a guaranteed completed-sale return, and additional dates remained the main supply risk. However, secondary asking prices by the end of September, particularly around Madison Square Garden, suggested that the original House of Resell call was moving in the right direction.
