Mega Evolutions ETBs from PKC preorders now flipping for 2x retail — strong early hype fuels £60 per unit profit.
Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary is shaping up to be one of the biggest TCG releases of 2026, with the 30th Celebration set scheduled for 16 September 2026. What initially started as an awareness post has now developed into a genuine resale opportunity following Pokémon Centre pre-orders.
The set celebrates three decades of Pokémon with around 150 cards after Secret Rares, including 30 classic cards from across the game’s history. These returning cards feature a special “30” Pikachu stamp and foil treatment, while every booster pack is expected to contain one of 30 different Pikachu cards illustrated by different artists.
A new Futuristic Rare rarity is also being introduced alongside new cards and remakes of sought-after favourites.
For resellers, the standout products so far are the Pokémon Centre Elite Trainer Box and Booster Bundle, particularly the exclusive ETB due to the much stronger early resale premium.
The Pokémon Centre Elite Trainer Box costs £56.99, with early resale expectations around £250, leaving roughly £193 gross profit before fees and postage.
Booster Bundles cost £25.99 for six packs and are expected to resell around £50, offering a lower-cost entry into the release.
Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary combines exclusive products, nostalgic card reprints and special Pikachu cards, giving the set significant collector appeal.
The official release is scheduled for 16 September 2026, meaning successful pre-orders could benefit from continued hype as release day approaches.

The Pokémon Centre ETB is clearly the product to watch, with a £56.99 purchase price against an early £250 resale estimate creating substantially more upside than the Booster Bundle. The £25.99 Booster Bundle still offers a cheaper entry point, but its expected £50 resale leaves much less room once selling costs are considered.
With Pokémon celebrating its 30th Anniversary and the main release still over a month away, demand could move significantly before 16 September. For House of Resell members, monitoring pre-orders, restocks and early secondary-market sales will be key rather than assuming today's prices will hold through release.
