Nike celebrates the Air Max 95 with Yu-Gi-Oh! - Every pair comes with a promo trading card, boosting resale demand.
The Nike x One Piece Air Max Plus "Ope Ope" became one of September's more interesting UK sneaker flips thanks to an unusually restricted release.
Inspired by the Ope Ope no Mi Devil Fruit from One Piece, the pair uses the Air Max Plus silhouette in a Very Berry-led colourway. Nike confirmed that the Ope Ope edition would only release through selected retailers in the US and Europe on 19 September 2026, rather than through the wider SNKRS release given to other parts of the collaboration.
For the UK, OFFSPRING was the London retail location, with the shoe released exclusively through a raffle for collection at its King's Cross store. OFFSPRING listed the pair at £190, with sizes UK 4.5-13 available and no first-come, first-served pairs.
House of Resell targeted £400+ resale, with OFFSPRING reportedly holding low stock. The limited UK availability made the raffle particularly attractive for members who could physically collect in London.
The release also had an extra collector angle. Nike confirmed that qualifying in-person footwear purchases outside Japan received an English-language Nike x One Piece DON!! promo card matching the respective colourway.
The Ope Ope Air Max Plus retailed for £190, with House of Resell targeting £400+ resale.
OFFSPRING handled the London release through a raffle with King's Cross collection only and no FCFS pairs available.
Nike limited the Ope Ope colourway to selected US and European retailers, significantly restricting its distribution compared with the wider collection.
In-person purchases also received a matching One Piece DON!! promo card, adding another collectable element to the package.

Nike launched the wider One Piece collection through SNKRS, while the Ope Ope remained a selected-retailer release rather than part of the broader SNKRS footwear drop.

The strength of this flip came from distribution and scarcity, not simply the One Piece name.
At £190 retail, HOR's £400+ target offered around £160 gross upside before fees. More importantly, the Ope Ope was not receiving the same broad footwear release as other parts of the collaboration. Nike specifically restricted it to selected US and European retailers on 19 September.
OFFSPRING's release made that scarcity even more relevant to UK buyers. It was raffle-only, the collection was restricted to King's Cross, winners had to collect personally, and there were no FCFS pairs.
The matching DON!! promo card added another reason to keep the complete package intact, particularly because the collaboration crossed two collector markets: sneakers and One Piece TCG.
For HOR members able to make the London collection, £190 toward a £400+ target was a strong September raffle opportunity, especially given the restricted UK supply.
