Cashback Guide

What Is Cashback & How It Works
Cashback is money you get back when you shop through specific websites or instore and you earn actual money credited to your account that you can withdraw to your bank, PayPal, gift cards, or other options.
The basics:
You click through the cashback site/app (websites below) before shopping.
The retailer pays a commission to that cashback site/app (websites below) for sending them a customer aka you.
The platform shares some of that commission with you as cashback.
Example:
If a retailer offers 5% cashback on a £100 purchase and you go through a cashback site, you can earn £5 credited back to your account once everything tracks and confirms.
How it tracks
Pending: purchase recorded but not confirmed yet.
Confirmed: the retailer has approved it.
Payable: you can withdraw it.
Withdrawn: sent to bank/PayPal/gift card.
Once the cashback has been tracked which takes around 1-6 weeks (depending on delivery), you can withdraw the funds.
If you forget to go through a cashback site first, some will allow you to ‘Submit a Missing Cashback Claim’ via their website.
